The spa town Bad Kissingen is a city full of attractions. There are many interesting destinations nearby as well as unique means of transportation.
The Postkutsche from Bad Kissingen to Bad Bocklet and to castle Aschach is one way to travel – it is the last stage coach line of the German post and has been operating since 1950.
A trip to the wildlife park Klaushof is ideal for families with children who will enjoy watching the animals. The region Fränkische Saale offers many leisure options e.g. hiking and cycling along the river bank, or going on boat trips with canoes or a steamboat (from Rosengarten). Bad Kissingen is also ideal for activity holidays – every sports enthusiast will find something e.g. hiking, Nordic walking, cycling or canoeing, playing golf or tennis, playing in the garden, chess, mini-golf, riding, squash, ice skating, ice hockey or soaring.
Bad Kissingen features a great golf court with 18 holes that was created in 1910 and is located in the idyllic valley of Fränkische Saale. The city is the ideal base to explore the surroundings on your bicycle, as there are various long bicycle paths nearby – a great way to relax.
